Job Title: Youth Liaisons (3 available positions)

Department:  Health

Reports To:  Deputy Director                                

Youth Liaisons will serve as student representatives for Crook County Health Department and Crook County Empowered, a local community coalition empowering youth to make healthy, drug-free decisions. They will provide a teen perspective to prevention and health promotion efforts. They will participate in trainings to gain skills for providing peer-to-peer and community education. They will help develop a plan to address student health and safety. This position will create and put into action an outreach plan with Crook County High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) that includes presentations to community leaders, students, and the public. The schedule for this position will average 6 hours per week and will be flexible to allow for student school and extracurricular activities.


  • Completion of 9th grade and current high school or GED student
  • Experience working as part of a group or team to accomplish a shared goal
